Pete grew up in Chicago and earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University. Recently, he completed the novel writing certificate program at the Graham School of the University of Chicago. Other novel writing studies included Vermont College of Fine Arts Postgraduate Writer's Conference, Northwestern Writer's Conference, Iowa Summer Writing Festival, and the Association of Writing and Writing Programs.
Pete's short story
The Perfect Enforcer was e-published on the Site of Big Shoulders. Non-fiction articles, columns and web-copy have appeared in publications like College News Magazine, Wassup Magazine and HalosOfHope.org.
Pete has completed one novel,
Fire in the Belly, for which he is seeking representation. He is several chapters into his next book,
Liberty, and plans on its completion by the end of this year.
